Beginnings of Two Geniuses: Light Bulb Inventor and AI Expert

It is often overlook that family especially the parents play an important role in the development of children to make them become great adults.

Here are two geniuses that have their parents support.

Its not common knowledge that the inventor of the light bulb, Thomas Edison, had problems in school.

His teacher even described him as "addled".

"A hyperactive child, prone to distraction, he was deemed "difficult" by his teacher."

His three months of formal education ended with his mother taking him away from school and to home schooling.Thomas Edison's mom believed in him despite what his teacher said. Without the belief of his mother he won't have been able

"My mother was the making of me. She was so true, so sure of me, and I felt I had some one to live for, some one I must not disappoint." - Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison's mom believed in him despite what his teacher said. Without the belief of his mother he won't have achieved greatness.

From the past to the now. Not many know of this yet, but there is a young man (kid) that is making headlines in the tech world.

Tanmay Bakshi (born 2003) is a Canadian author, software developer, speaker (has his own Youtube channel which he created at age 7), and he his an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning expert.

Tanmay is recognized by Google and IBM since he already worked with them as a kid.

Now this would not be possible without the support of his parents. At age 5 he was taught by his programmer Dad how to code.

"Originally, I began to code when I was 5 years old when my dad introduced me to simple languages like FoxPro and Batch. From there, my curiosity lead me to learn more through resources like the internet and different books" - Tanmay Bakshi

This means before the age of 5 he can already read. At below 5 most kids attend play school or a day care center and most don't have reading part of their curriculum.

He learned reading from home, from his parents and then from there he learned what he could on his own.

They provided me the exposure and resources right when I needed them the most, had it not been for my family’s support, I wouldn’t be working toward my dream to such an extent.” - Tanmay Bakshi

Listen, this article shows that parents can and should start their kids education from home.

The most crucial thing we can do for our child is teach them the joy of reading, at the earliest age possible.

Reading opens up doors and a new world for your kids.

This is an easy reading program designed to specifically for parents like you, to quickly have your child reading better than all other children their age.

Even if they’re as young as 2, don't know their alphabet at all and currently show zero interest in reading whatsoever.
